Toy Soldiers First Look

Naruto winced as he watched one of his five partners grab the bounty by the cloak and slam the person against the tree. "How did you manage to steal all of those ninjas' abilities without once touching them?!" he growled as his eyes turned a gruesome shade of silver, veins pulsing dangerously.

The bounty breathed heavily before pursing their lips tight and turning their neck away, avoiding Neji's gaze. Neji's grip on the bounty tightened before another hand grasped his and pulled it away from the victim. Neji looked up to meet Shikamaru's sharp gaze and grunted once before turning away. "I lost control," he murmured before stepping back.

Shikamaru took a careful look at the person before his hand reached the black cloak, and in one swift movement, pulled it off the body. The six bounty hunters widened their eyes when they saw a slender and curvy female body covered by a cropped white crew neck shirt, red baggy pants scrunched up to the knees accompanied by black suspenders hanging at the sides, and a pair of small feet covered in white bandage wrappings.

They caught sight of the pair of hands encompassed in fingerless black gloves. In another second, Shikamaru reached out again and the straw hat fell to the ground, its black curtain no longer hiding the face of their target.

Jade green eyes clashed with theirs, hard as stone and welling with tears gradually. Naruto's mouth fell open as he took in the female before them; short wavy pink hair, pale rose colored lips, and jade green eyes. The short wavy hair led to the red cloud tattoo on the left side of her neck and as soon as crimson red eyes caught sight of the tattoo, Neji shot out towards the bounty again.

The bounty widened her eyes before ducking in a swift movement, Neji staggering a little as his hand hit the tree. She gasped in short breaths before sending a fearful glance towards the rest of them, "I...I didn't mean to steal their abilities on purpose!"

Kakashi walked towards her, holding a hand up to stop any other person from attacking once more. His lone charcoal eye met her jade green ones and a grim dawn of a frown was seen behind his mask. "...Explain, Ojou-san."

The girl calmed herself down before taking off the glove on her left hand. She shakily lifted up her palm to reveal a second tattoo in her palm; a bloody red colored tattoo in the shape of an intricate flower.

"My hands. Without my gloves, they--... they suck on the chakra signatures of any person in my mind. It renders the person useless, the chakra forever gone and the ability to conduct jutsu confiscated as well. And in return, I gain the abilities of the person and am able to perform whatever jutsu they had learned."

Gaara looked at her with no sympathy before marching towards her as she widened her eyes in fear. "You still have control over it if the gloves prevent your hands from performing such an act. So technically, that means you stole those ninjas' abilities on purpose." his hardened jade eyes matched her own.

She gaped before taking a step back, stumbling before furrowing her eyebrows. "I really didn't want to do it!" she screamed.

Shikamaru widened his eyes before noticing her glove-less hand and the red head approaching her. "Gaara, MOVE! Her hands are freed!" he shouted. The girl widened her eyes as she registered the fact before hastily trying to put the glove back on. In her anxiousness, it was of no luck and Gaara fell to his knees and grunted as sweat formed on his forehead, his face paling.

Naruto gasped before running to his partner, turning to the horrified pinkette as she clutched her hand in terror. He watched her hand glow an eerie white shade and suddenly the veins and blood routes in her body were incredibly clear and easy to see. The newly taken chakra from the red head was seen surging  throughout her veins and arteries, and a second later, the glowing wore off.

Naruto grabbed Gaara before he could fall face first onto the floor. He growled and glared at the slowly tearing up pinkette, "You thief! Give it back to him!" he hollered.

She stood there blankly for another minute, and when the others made a move to catch her, she had already grabbed her cloak and hat and taken off.
